Eeeee.
I'd forgotten just how snortingly awful the subtitle translations for my version are. Not that I believe the dialogue is any better or less clichéd in Japanese, but sometimes the sheer Babel-Fishiness of it is mindboggling.
And the sheerstupidity shortsightedness of most of the characters - mentally, emotionally and logically - also never ceases to astound me. Though I guess without Angst (emphasis on the capital 'A') there couldn't be Weiß.
The plots? I'm not going to touch those with a six-foot naginata. Bad, bad, bad, bad, just plain bad. And Brain Damage fairly comprehensively covers everything anyone can possibly say about the 'quality' of the animation.

But I love it! you know I do!
Gratuitous and violent slaying of innocents, silly weapons, Wierd Science projects, truckloads of sexy bishounen assassins - both bad andgood er, not-quite-so-bad. And those are just the beginning good points. How could anyone not love it?
