Animania etc

toscas_kissFinally, finally received confirmation of my membership to the Aya Again 2003 Anime & Manga Convention in Northampton in November. Hoorah! I'm quite looking forward to it now.
Annoyingly enough, I didn't get a room in the hotel the convention is held in, although I did get a room in the hotel across the street. It doesn't have a pool though. [pouts]
It looks like they have some interesting workshops, although I'm not going to bother doing anything for the masquerade and I doubt I know enough anime to compete in the quiz. I do have an idea for the 'Politically Incorrect T-shirt' competition, but it's pretty damn rude. [grin] I'll have to see if I have time to draw it and transfer it onto a t-shirt though - I figure if the mortgage & flat purchase goes through, I'll probably be moving in about then. And I have a hundred and one other items on my 'To Do' list at the moment, including my 'Spielzeit' manga adaptation, which I haven't managed to do anything more on for about 3 weeks. [frowns]
Probably I'd never get the springcleaning done, but the Younger Sibling is turning up early August, so I have a deadline now. I do work better on deadlines!
