Is it just my crappy Internet connection, or is everyone else having serious problems using Archive of our Own?

I keep getting Error 502 pages and having to reload pages again and again. :-(

I've seen people complaining about it on fail-fandomanon. I haven't had any trouble but my hit count for my last story is suspiciously low, considering it took less than three days for my previous story in the fandom (why yes, it is Avengers) to have the highest hit count of any of my stories.

It's not just you. I've been having problems for days. I can't even get my own stories to load reliably so I can answer feedback.

I've got a few 502s, and it seems very slooooooow in loading at times. I think the Ao3 is blaming the vast influx of Avengers fanfic - the perils of a new huge fandom!

This looks like the most up-to-date information - the basic advice is to not log in when reading (only do so if you want to comment/upload/etc). It will take at least two weeks to fix things, they say.

And it's not [just] Avengers, it's The Pit banishing thousands of authors and adult-rated stories (and possibly Heliopolis going down, but definitely The Pit). We currently have 17K requests for invitations in the queue. A small town of people! We're panting under the load of love :D
