It feels a little odd to me sometimes, wearing a poppy in November. In NZ our day of remembrance for the fallen, which is called ANZAC Day, is on 25th April. So I try and honour both dates.

I had my minutes silence today, and tehn another one while talking to a New Zealand ex-pat living london at 8pm tonight.
This is a doulbe day for me, as my Nana, who was a home service nurse died today 10 years ago.
Lest We Forget (<-- it kinda feels as though we've forgotten the reason why all those young people died. I'll never forget them though)
