It's the squeakiness that really, really irritated me. I was therefore wondering if her mental voice might not be just as squeaky - and then thought about how much that would really, really irritate Schuldig. Not a wise move...

I actually felt kind of bad when she died when I first watched the scene in the anime. And then I was telling it back to my husband and I was going, "and then she tells him she's his sister, and he says that's okay because they can be together forever and then they shoot her..." and I couldn't stop laughing.

Truly one of the more ridiculous of the WK scenarios. Not that that's much of a hard claim...
