Baby fridges and baby sisters

I bought a fridge!
OK, so it's a baby fridge (13.5 litre capacity; 28 cm deep, 29cm wide and 44 cm high), but Nature is currently my refrigerator - I've been leaving my milk outside on the brickwall to keep it from going off in my toasty-warm kitchen. Goodness knows what the mailman thinks.
But now I'll be able to keep cheese and meat longer than a day, which is of the good.
I've been eyeing the mini-fridges for a while, as I'm not ready to look at working on my kitchen - I got it for less than half price too! [big pleased smile] But is this not of serious cuteness?:

I'm also having someone come around on Monday to give me an estimate for a gas boiler (ahh, instant hot water! How I dream of thee!). With a little luck it should be in before the Younger Sibling comes to visit...

... which will be next month. Huzzah! With Valentine's Day (aka Crass Commercial Exploitation of Guilt-tripped Individuals Day) coming up, it will be interesting to see if the Kansas Farmboy pops the question. I have no doubt what the answer would be though.

This weekend: Painting the hallway (and maybe the bathroom) with primer. Selecting the final color choice for the lounge (something pale cream to parchment colored), and starting to paint that.
