Airflight robbery by Ryanair once again

Just when you thought Ryanair airlines couldn't get any cheaper (and I use that word in the 'stingy and mean' sense) - not only are they hiking the price of stowed bags in summer months from £15 to £20, but they'll be charging you to use the toilet!

Yep, that's right - £1 to spend a penny on a Ryanair flight. Next they'll be charging you for oxygen too.

Yet another reason to fly BBI or Air Lingus etc to Ireland and other European destinations. By the time you compare their total cost to the total cost of extra fees + inconvenient seating + the sheer total bloody aggravation of Ryanair, they come out streets ahead.

Aer Lingus always, always, always ends up being a better deal than Dickhead O'Leary's Wanktrain in the Sky. Why yes, I do feel aggrieved by feckin Ryanair!

I'm flying Aer Lingus to Vilnius in June with puddingcat (and hopefully new_kate, if she can indeed take time off then)! We aim to sample the delights of Lithuanian cuisine and culture, and (mostly) booze. In a fit of confidence I'm attempting to learn some Lithuanian - it appears to be a language constructed by sadists. Seven cases, dude? Really? Perhaps I'll just learn "another bottle of vodka, please" and leave it at that :-)

Heh, I'd been avoiding RyanAir because they were always damned inconvenient, but now I can avoid them on principle, too. Wee, principle ;)
