100 years of bondage, er, I mean, Bond!
Sep. 30th, 2008 03:49 pm(I figure I won't be around to see the centenary of actual Bond literature in 2053, so I'm just going to squee for this one)
The Times has a very cool spread celebrating the centenary of the birth of Ian Fleming, creator of James Bond.
There's an interactive time line, as well as a whole slew of articles ranging from the obvious (e.g. the 'real' James Bond), to the more esoteric (e.g. does Bond believe in God?), with a side-order of 'Top Ten...girls, locations, villains, etc'. There's also an interactive preview of the Imperial War Museum's 'For Your Eyes Only' exhibition and a couple of other neat things.
I feel the sudden urge to rush off and finish those two Bond stories I'm working on...
