Descendants of Darkness #1
Oct. 19th, 2004 12:17 amJust finished volume 1 of Descendants of Darkness! (the English manga version of Yami no Matsuei)
[insert fangirl squeeing which I shan't bore you with here]
All in all, a definite gold star. The artwork was better than I expected and they've done an excellent job on translating the asides and sound-effects, something that sadly often doesn't happen. Which is a pity, as it's a solid chunk of manga's appeal. Tsuzuki comes across as a lot stronger person than he does in the anime (at least to me). I think I like him better in this. But way, way too little Watari so far!
And yep,
mistress_renet, you have the right idea about Muraki.
