Hi everyone, hope you had a great Christmas! Mine was spent with several friends, and we had a great time eating and drinking and watching The Two Towers extended version - not your usual Yuletide viewing, but we went and saw Return of the King on Boxing Day. Which I loved to bitses.

daegaer gave me the most lovely notebook. Thank you so much! It's very, very cool - binding of laquered leaves and bannana leaf pulp pages, and I love it. I think I shall do something like write my favorite poems in it.

I am writing this on my Xmas gift to myself - a new laptop. I went to the store to look at the couch I'd saved up for and discovered, somewhat to my consternation, that it was both too long and too wide to fit in my squity little 3 m₂ lounge. On top of the no-Internet-access, camping-out-as-everything's-in-storage, no-hot-water, I-have-no-floor saga it was just that one straw too much.
So I thought, 'screw this' and went and bought myself a nice little Sony VAIO with the couch money. So I am now back to happily reading all your LJ's and reading porn surfing the Internet in the (dis)comfort of a small beanbag on the concrete floor of my lounge. Hoorah!
