My cretinous proclivities showing...

Looking at the Random House 100 best Novels, which has a Board Selection and a Readers' Poll Selection, I'm interested to note I score a measly 20 books read from the What the Intelligensia Says is Good list, and a not much better 30 from the What the Populace Actually Reads in terms of 'Literature' list.

However, before I feel too shoddy, puritybrown (whom I got the link from) has some good points about ballot stuffing on the Readers' List.
