"Wake" - WK/YnM drabble, G.
The two girls watching the lake were easily mistakable for sisters, although Tsuzuki knew they weren’t. The younger-looking one turned, glancing between them and her oblivious companion. Confusion, fear and then resignation passed quickly over her pretty features.
“I’m not really awake, am I?”
“You are,” he spoke gently, “But I’m afraid you’re no longer alive. You should have died years ago but for the black magic practised by one of your doctors. We're here to guide you on.”
“Ran? My brother?”
“Still alive.” Tsuzuki glanced at the lake and then lied, “I’m sure you’ll see him again some day.”
